Freely You Received, Freely give out the Gospel

Freely You Received, Freely give out the Gospel We continue from Matthew chapter 9, where Jesus saw the crowd and had “compassion” on them because they were like “sheep without the Great shepherd- Jesus”. Without Jesus you don’t have any life and the end is hell. This is the sum of it all but sorry for the bluntness. Jesus had asked the disciples to pray to the Lord of harvest to send out laborers into the field of harvest of souls. Now in chapter 10, Jesus turns and sends out the disciples. We are the answers to the prayers of Jesus. We are His laborers for the harvest. Jesus says to us, you have “Freely you have received, freely give” Matthew 10:8. We have freely received the gospel –Jesus himself, we must freely give Jesus to others. “8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand tha

The Laborers are Few

The Laborers are Few Jesus gave us a prayer to pray and we are the answers to the prayer. If you don’t see yourself as an answer to this prayer, then you should not pray it. There are few times when Jesus asks us to pray and this is one of them and it is very important to Him because that is why He left heaven and came to earth to die. Here is Jesus plea to you and me: “But when He (Jesus) saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary[f] and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:36-38 Like Jesus, are you “moved with compassion” when you see a Muslim, a Hindu, a None Religious of USA/the West or any other person who does not know Jesus and have not trusted in Him as Lord and Savior? They are headed to hell if they refuse to trust in Jesus the Savior. May God

Your Sins Are Forgiven You - Happy Easter!

Your Sins Are Forgiven You What a relief to hear these words! These are the words of Jesus to the paralytic. Friend, it does not matter what disease or problem you may have today. Even and when you are healed and the Lord solves all your problems, the greatest that will happen to you and that will be said to you is “Your sins are forgiven you”. Let’s us rejoice this Easter as we celebrate Christ’s resurrection that secured and validated our forgiveness from sins. Since He lives we also will live forever because, our sins are forgiven us forever. The paralytic was not able to get to Jesus but his friends brought (carried) him to Jesus. Will you today and for this season carry/bring someone to Jesus? This is the love we owe to all. We must tell people about Jesus so that they can equally have the opportunity to meet Christ and accept His unconditional love. Carry people to God in prayer and also tell them the good news of their sins being forgiven because Christ paid for all of it
