Abundant Grace & Peace To You

Dear Saints, Looking for Grace and Peace?   Everyone in the whole world is looking for peace. There is so much unrest through natural disasters, shootings, hatred, and greed manifested in wars such as Russia/Ukraine, Sudan, mob violence by young people in the streets of Chicago/Los Angeles, and corrupt politicians stealing from the people impoverishing millions.   There's enough to rob us of peace, including broken relationships, family crises, financial problems, deaths, sickness, etc.   If you want peace, go to the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.   The lack of peace and its solution has existed since the world began. As we continue our 2 Peter studies, Apostle Peter speaking to his persecuted/suffering audience reminds/greets/prays for them as follows:   "Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord." 2 Peter 1:2. Introducing 2 Peter Epistle - Our Precious Faith

Dear Saints, “Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:” 2 Peter 1: 1   It’s the apostle Peter writing this letter. Simon Peter is the author contrary to some so-called scholarly debates of authorship.   More important is his view and description of himself as “a bondservant” of the Lord Jesus and an apprentice/apostle of Jesus Christ. We must not have the desire for any other master. Lord, please help me to stick with you. I do not ask for a release from serving you and your people and all people. Thank you for holding me and never letting me go as your bondservant.   Who is 2 Peter’s audience? All those “who have obtained [received] like precious faith with us.” This audience seems a bit la

Jesus Willingly Died For Us His Enemies - Happy Easter!

Dear Saints, " But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  9  Much more then, having now been  justified by His blood,  we shall be  saved from wrath  through Him." Romans 5:8-9 . This scripture sums up what Christ did for us on the cross, dying for His enemies. We are justified in God's presence and saved from His wrath to come. Hallelujah!   I was out this week sharing this good news of the gospel at a public parking lot. Sometimes I get to talk one-on-one with people. Other times, I place a gospel tract strategically on a car where the driver returning to the parked car can see it and eventually read it. I had just done so, and a middle aged man walked to his car, grabbed the tract, and tore it into two, dropping the pieces on the ground. The gospel tract had the title "What is the Gospel?"   I watched this episode with great compassion. What came to my mind was what Jesus said about us while on the c
