Sinners and Prostitutes Ahead in Heaven

Sinners and Prostitutes Ahead in Heaven Yes. It is right and true according to Jesus. If we or anyone else do not repent, turn and receive the only provision made for payment of the punishment for sin; the most wicked who turns to Jesus will enter heaven before the self-righteous. No one has a chance with a holy God based on self-righteousness. Listen to Jesus’ parable of the two sons. It does not matter what we have said in the past, or the life we have lived, but the present truth of recognizing my sin and repenting and turning to God is what the Father desires. The Father is looking for present obedience to the truth at hand. We must be doers of God's word and not just talkers of the Bible. Lord help us, we pray. Do you and I want to dwell with God always and in constant fellowship? Here is the condition. “For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To

House of Worries or Prayers?

House of Worries or Prayers? I found myself living out today’s lesson. I couldn’t sleep but worried about so many issues going on in my life and family. I was anxious and worried about publication of the book I am writing. I was worried about one of my children’s behavior issues in school. I was worried about one of our cars that just died and never to be resurrected. The worries went on and on. It was like I was on a roll on issue after issues - family, marriage, health, work, ministry and etc. I had become a worrier instead of a warrior. My world became so clouded that it seemed to be crashing or coming to an end. I never even stopped to realize that I had so much to be thankful to God for; while the scenarios were playing in my head. I forgot that the car died right in the garage. Just as I drove in and stopped the car, the engine started smoking. I was not stranded on the road and our house didn’t burn down because of the engine eruption. Like Jesus said, I was doing what I s

Who is this Man Jesus, the King?

Who is this man Jesus, the King? There was a great uproar, excitement and loud shouting of the people and the entire city. Someone very important is entering into the city as a king. The whole city,Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, “Who is this?” Matthew 21:9. This is still the same question for all the cities of America and the world. Who is this man called Jesus? Everyone must answer for themselves this question. Who is this man? Unfortunately, the people of Jerusalem that were shouting Hosanna, Hosanna would in the next week would be shouting crucify him, crucify him. It is clear the people did not discern who Jesus was. People of today have not discerned who Jesus is even in the churches that are singing and shouting Hosanna, Hosanna. ‘Behold, your King is coming to you, Lowly, and sitting on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey. “Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’[e] Hosanna in the highest!” Vs, 5 and 9. Oh, how we

Do WE Understand Our Redemption?

Do We Understand Our Redemption? Even first-responders understand the risks of their jobs. I have always wondered what motivates people like fire fighters, the police, and the soldiers, to sign up for their professions. There will be many motives when you speak to each. Some of you are serving or have served in these capacities. Regardless of all the reasons we may discover, one thing is there. There is always a reward to be received whether it is paycheck or sense of accomplishment. When it comes to our Savior, Jesus Christ, what was in it for Him? We are encouraged, thus, “2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2. It says, for the “joy”. Whose joy really? The joy is ours. We were set before Him. It was all for us. Jesus being God, does not need anything to be complete. He does not lack joy nor is He craving for j
