Sinners and Prostitutes Ahead in Heaven
Sinners and Prostitutes Ahead in Heaven
Yes. It is right and true according to Jesus. If we or anyone else do not repent, turn and receive the only provision made for payment of the punishment for sin; the most wicked who turns to Jesus will enter heaven before the self-righteous. No one has a chance with a holy God based on self-righteousness.
Listen to Jesus’ parable of the two sons. It does not matter what we have said in the past, or the life we have lived, but the present truth of recognizing my sin and repenting and turning to God is what the Father desires. The Father is looking for present obedience to the truth at hand. We must be doers of God's word and not just talkers of the Bible. Lord help us, we pray.
Do you and I want to dwell with God always and in constant fellowship? Here is the condition. “For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” Isaiah 57:15
We live in a world that teaches us not to admit our faults and sins but to spin the facts and say it enough times that people will believe we are living in truth. May God save us and help us always to run to the cross for our redemption and on-going sanctification.
If we are going to reach anyone for Christ, we must be contrite and humble. We are just like anyone else except that we have acknowledged our sins and accepted the gift of forgiveness secured on the cross by Christ. Let’s go tell everyone and pray for them.
Father, thank you for cleansing us from every sin of today, yesterday and the future. "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments." 1 John 2:1-3
May we never take your sacrifice for us for granted. Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid. Amen.
Do you need to do a sin business with God? Go ahead and talk to our Father. He hears and forgives always. Our Father never rejects a contrite and humble heart.
Matthew 21: 28-32 The Parable of the Two Sons
28 “But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’ 29 He answered and said, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went.30 Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, ‘I go, sir,’ but he did not go. 31 Which of the two did the will of his father?”
They said to Him, “The first.”
Jesus said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you. 32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him; but tax collectors and harlots believed him; and when you saw it, you did not afterward relent and believe him.
