One with Jesus/God - Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! We thank God for bringing us into the year of 2019 for His purpose and for His glory. It is only by His grace we are here in this new year for we are not better than any who died naturally or perished in some accidental death in 2018. To God be the glory!
The Greatest News for us this year is that Jesus has prayed for us and will continue to pray for us 365 days this year. If God Himself in the person of the Son Jesus is praying for us, for sure it MUST be answered according to HIS WILL. Jesus’ prayer: 20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who [j]will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.” John 17:20-21.
We must be one with God the Son Jesus, God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. How? By faith and action. Faith comes by knowing and believing Him through His Word (see John 17:3). This is eternal, everlasting life and we are already living it and not waiting till we get to heaven. Also we must know God by our love actions for God is love. We must love God through loving one another and all created in God’s image. This is the sum of our mandate for this year. We can do this because God is in us and with us and empowering us to be one with HIM.
Our oneness (our identity in Christ) with God will be contested and challenged 365 days of this year. That is why we must continue to read and remind ourselves who we are according to His WORD. Don’t worry, Jesus is praying and you must pray too so that the world may believe in Jesus through us. Your highest accomplishment this year is to help someone believe and trust God the Father and Jesus the Savior from the wrath of God that is coming on the unbelieving. This is the prosperity I wish for you this Year!

Jesus Prays for Himself
17 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He [a]should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. 4 I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together [b]with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.
Jesus Prays for His Disciples
6 “I have [c]manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. 7 Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You. 8 For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.
9 “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. 10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. 11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Jesus Prays for All Believers

The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. 26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”
