Be Believing Today & Forever
Dear Saints:
At the time of our new birth in Christ, yes we believed and trusted Jesus as our Lord and Savior who came from heaven, lived a perfect life, crucified on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, died and buried, rose again after three days, ascended to heaven and He is coming back again to take us with Him forever. By the way, that is the Gospel message that saves forever as we repented and asked for forgiveness for our sins.
We don’t stop believing but continuously believing as Jesus told Thomas who represents all of us –“Do not be unbelieving, but believing” Like Thomas, as Jesus opens our spiritual eyes daily, may we cry out today and forever, “My Lord and my God.” Make no mistake, Jesus is GOD and only GOD saves. Tell that to the Mormons, the Jehovah Witness, other cults and to all.
Have you believed and are you believing without first looking for proof? Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. How absurd/ridiculous it is that we believed that Jesus saved us from going to hell of all places but we are not believing now for minor things compared to going to hell and for the salvation of others?
Are you believing in Christ for this season regardless of what is going on in your life? The Lord granted us the faith to believe and continuously believing. We then must do the good works He ordained for us (See Ephesians 2:8-10). Take a step of faith today.
Will you introduce Jesus to others today and this season so they may believe and be believing? The distance between heaven and hell is believing in Jesus. Please pray for those yet-to-believe in Jesus. Lord, please remove their blindness as you did for us and reveal Yourself to them. Amen. Call out by name as many as are in your sphere of reach that need to be saved from hell.
John 20:26-30 (Please read the entire chapter 20) :
26 And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!” 27 Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.”
28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
30 And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
May the Lord bless and keep you in His peace. Amen. Yes, still follow the CDC guidelines and local authorities guidelines. Our Jesus has overcome the evil one. Be of good cheer!
Regards always
