My Best Compliment "Idiot"

While preaching and evangelizing in the streets today, I got my best compliment. A man in his car shouted, "Stop wasting your time, idiot." I shouted back to him, "God bless you." Then he retorted, "Shut up idiot". He was vexed by the two-sided gospel signs I was carrying that said, "Jesus is Lord, Repent and Believe." On the other side it said, "All have Sinned. Repent, Turn, And Trust Christ.” It's an honor to be called “idiot” for Christ’s sake. Lord, I thank you. Please Lord, bless this man and reveal yourself to him and many others who were today, confronted with the truth of the gospel, and save them. Maybe this vexed man has seen me on previous Sundays preaching at the same spot. This is a confirmation that I should not stop, and especially at this location.  Saints, please join me to pray for this man that we will see him in heaven by God’s mercy and grace. In heaven, he can then apologize and hug me and other Saints. Darren's Suicide Prevented?

Much have been written by the clinical psychologists/psychiatrists and other notable professionals on suicide - causes and prevention.  I am not one of those professionals. I am here to share a moment of truth and revelation from God, the Holy Spirit. I met Darren this Tuesday, a young man in his early twenties at the gym. He was downcast and wouldn't look directly at me as I tried to make eye contact. He went about exercising from one equipment to the other. After about one and half hours, I greeted him and looked directly at his face with a smile and said, how are you. He was surprised that I asked. Then he said he's okay. I told Darren, you and I must have had enough exercising since everyone else have left. Then I introduced myself since I am meeting him for the first time. He said he is Darren. "A Cow Led Me To Jesus" - Merry Christmas!

Before we hear this amazing true story, at this time of year, we must ask again, who is Jesus? The bells and sales are ringing louder. The black Friday and Cyber Monday have kicked off the buying frenzy, but please watch your budget. I have completed my outdoor Christmas decorations, just like some of you.  Why are we getting excited, tensed, anxious, joyful, dreadful, depressed, and etc.? We could be exhibiting any one or more of these emotions during this season.  Again, who is Jesus? This is just a reminder, not intended to insult our intelligence. Apostle John who was so close to Jesus, answered this question for us:  "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.
