 Forgive My Arrogance of Unbelief

It just dawned on me that we literally die daily at night and we call it sleep. Then, in the morning, God in His mercy wakes us up to live for another day, perhaps. Please stop and think about it. "Selah." While asleep, we are temporarily in a different world.

When we truly understand what God has set in motion from the beginning of time, how dare us not to trust Him for every second. I now see my foolish arrogance not to wholeheartedly trust, depend and rely on God's love, mercy and kindness for every second.

What can we brag about that God has not given us? You may be thinking about material things. No, I am thinking about life itself. Without life, there are no things to acquire and accumulate. Moreover, we only acquire and accumulate what already exists and provided by God in His mercy.

I will confess that it has never hit me (with a four by four) to this level before. The words of Jesus, the Creator, in John 14:1 did it. In fact, it's all over in the Bible.
“Do not let your heart be troubled (afraid, cowardly). Believe [confidently] in God and trust in Him, [have faith, hold on to it, rely on it, keep going and] believe also in Me." - John 14:1, AMP.

How can we doubt, fear and not trust God with this kind of assurance and knowledge?
No wonder the book of Revelation almost at the ends says:

"He who overcomes [the world by adhering faithfully to Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior] will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. But as for the cowards and unbelieving and abominable [who are devoid of character and personal integrity and practice or tolerate immorality], and murderers, and sorcerers [with intoxicating drugs], and idolaters and occultists [who practice and teach false religions], and all the liars [who knowingly deceive and twist truth], their part will be in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” - Revelation 21:7-8.

Look who is first on the list of those who will not live with God forever, "the cowards (fearful) and unbelieving." The greatest sin is not to believe God and believe His word, trust and faithfully believe Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Lord, I rest in you. Please, Lord, forgive my arrogance and unbelieve. I believe, please help my unbelief. Thank you for waking me up at 4:15 am this morning and every morning. What a precious gift of life.

For God the Father so loved the world... He gave us Jesus Christ, the Son and those who believe Him will have eternal, forever life and those who do not will perish.

"18 Whoever believes and has decided to trust in Him [as personal Savior and Lord] is not judged [for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation]; but the one who does not believe [and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord] is judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced], because he has not believed and trusted in the name of the [One and] only begotten Son of God [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, the One who alone can save him]. - John 3:18 =AMP

Do you believe God, believe in God and Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior? - The Savior who saves us from the temporary death of sleep every morning and saves us from the permanent death of hell - absence from God forever?

Lord, I believe help me to believe and trust you daily; and to tell others of your great love so they can also believe and trust in you, the Christ. Amen.

Let's go today and tell it on the mountain (and the valleys of life to everyone) that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. Amen. 

The better question is, “Are you believing God?” and not “What are you believing God for?” Let’s believe God forever. Amen.
