"A Cow Led Me To Jesus" - Merry Christmas!

Before we hear this amazing true story, at this time of year, we must ask again, who is Jesus? The bells and sales are ringing louder. The black Friday and Cyber Monday have kicked off the buying frenzy, but please watch your budget. I have completed my outdoor Christmas decorations, just like some of you.  Why are we getting excited, tensed, anxious, joyful, dreadful, depressed, and etc.? We could be exhibiting any one or more of these emotions during this season.  Again, who is Jesus? This is just a reminder, not intended to insult our intelligence. Apostle John who was so close to Jesus, answered this question for us:  "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Not as I will, but as You will

Not as I will, but as You will Jesus had a choice to pray a different prayer at Gethsemane but He choose to pray three times, “O My Father, [h]if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.” Jesus would have prayed to “My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels.” Why? Jesus knew the will of the Father, and as Son and God, knew that there was no other plan for the salvation of humans from the wrath of God. We rejoice and thank God that His plan to be betrayed, arrested, tried, unjustly crucified, buried, rising from the dead, and ascending to heaven never changed. That is the good news, the gospel for which we are saved from our sins and reconciled to God forever. There is still no other plan for you and me. Jesus is the only plan and the only will. Will you allow God’s will to be done in your life today? He has died to give strength to our flesh (humanity) for “The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak”. Oh fr...

Sisters Stop Your Fighting

Sisters Stop Your Fighting The Cold War between Russia and America may be over but it is not over in many churches, families, bedrooms, work places and etc. The first war started in the garden when Adam blamed Eve and Eve blamed the devil. It progressed to the first ever sibling rivalry of Cain and Abel. This one did not end well because Cain killed his brother Abel. You get the picture? Fights aren't new. Have you wondered why we fight and quarrel with others? Apostle Paul is calling out two dear sisters to stop the fighting. There are three parties here. The two women who are quarreling and the by standers who are indirectly affected. Everyone has a responsibility to stop the fighting. Take a step toward peace today. “2 I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to agree and to work in harmony in the Lord. 3 Indeed, I ask you too, my true companion, to help these women [to keep on cooperating], for they have shared my struggle in the [cause of the] gospel, together with Clement an...
