MARY Christmas

Let's listen to Mary, as she spoke after being filled with the Holy Spirit.

Luke 1: 46-55

46 And Mary said:

“My soul magnifies the Lord,
47 And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.
48 For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant;
For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.
49 For He who is mighty has done great things for me,
And holy is His name.
50 And His mercy is on those who fear Him
From generation to generation.
51 He has shown strength with His arm;
He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
52 He has put down the mighty from their thrones,
And exalted the lowly.
53 He has filled the hungry with good things,
And the rich He has sent away empty.
54 He has helped His servant Israel,
In remembrance of His mercy,
55 As He spoke to our fathers,
To Abraham and to his seed forever.”

What do you and I want to be filled with in this season of our lives? Apostle Paul admonishes us: "17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another in the fear of God". Ephesians 5:17-21

The old man Simeon also spoke after being filled with the Holy Spirit upon seeing the baby Jesus:

29 “Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace,
According to Your word;
30 For my eyes have seen Your salvation
31 Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples,
32 A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles,
And the glory of Your people Israel.”

Lord, fill us with your Holy Spirit this season. Help us to understand that you are the Lord God and have visited us in our lowly state of sin. You the Mighty One has done great things for us and have extended your mercy to us even while we were sinners, you died for us.

When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, the Lord reveals His ultimate will - the salvation of His people all over the earth (the Gentiles and the Jews). Lord, give us your heart for souls of men and women you have placed in our lives. This is the only reason for the season. May we never be "unwise" but "wise" for he who wins souls is "wise" in God. We also “always give thanks to God for all things” when filled with the Holy Spirit. This season, let’s give thanks for someone and tell them about Jesus the Savior. Will you and do you know this Jesus?

MARY Christmas to you and your family. Let us be (and continually being) filled with the Holy Spirit of God through His word and communion with the Lord in prayer. Amen. Will you ask the Father for the Holy Spirit for your Christmas gift? “13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Luke 11:13


Jesus is Lord !

The Day of The Lord - Judgment & Righteousness

Dear Saints,   There are the last days; there is also the day of the Lord—two different things and events. One is a period, and the other is a fixed day/date.   Jesus spoke about both while answering the disciples' questions in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 7. Please read and study these words of Jesus in addition to the book of Revelation regarding the end times and the day of the Lord.   As we continue our study of 2 Peter, let us hear the apostle Peter speak about the day of the Lord, which is the day of Judgment on the earth:   "But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Be One Of The Shepherds - Merry Christmas!

Where are you at the moment? Are you looked down upon and doing the work nobody else wants to do? Are you in a stinking situation (sheep stinks) literally and figuratively?
