Do You Believe? Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Dear Saints:

"Jesus said to him, [f]“Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20: 29.(Please read the entire resurrection account in John 20)

The events of these weeks define who we are and whose we are. Jesus will go to Jerusalem, accused, brutalized, nailed to the cross, died, buried, rose from the dead, was with his disciples and with more than other 500 witnesses and then ascended into heaven where He is exalted and continuously praying for us. And Jesus is coming back soon to take us to be with Him forever. This is the greatest news ever, the best Good Friday and the GOOD NEWS of the GOSPEL.

What is the alternative? Hell torment and everlasting separation from God. That is what we are saved from because we have all sinned and have missed the mark set by a Holy God; thus we all deserve hell forever. Good works will not save anyone, though we are saved to do good works. Only believe in Jesus and receive Him and the GRACE granted us on the cross.

Let us bask in these truths and assurance of our salvation forever because we believe.

“9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10

Do you believe even though you were not there? Faith is not seeing but yet believing. We thank God for Thomas who represented the doubts in most of us. Jesus will always erase our doubts when we encounter and meet Him right now. Ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you as you pray, repent, confess and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.

Let’s offer others the opportunity to hear the GOSPEL and believe and receive the ONLY TRUE GOD, JESUS CHRIST. In this week and beyond, who will you pray for, speak to and encourage and point to Jesus? Don’t go to heaven alone, especially when someone else told you and showed who Jesus is.
Take action; for how can they hear and believe if someone does not tell them (please read Romans 10). It is not enough to feel goose bumps during lent and resurrection week.

Happy Resurrection Sunday and Enjoy our new Life in Christ!
