Ready For The Soon Rapture?

Dear Saints:

Ready for the soon Rapture? Please don't wait for the Great Tribulation.

In the coming weeks we will be studying the book of Revelation. Before we start, let’s review the time line for the end-time. God have always had a plan for the world He created.

There was a beginning and there will be an end. In between came sin and God's plan for redemption. Jesus came and conquered sin on the cross. Jesus ascended to heaven and has given us the Holy Spirit. We are now in the Church age of grace. Jesus has sent us to make disciples of Christ and be disciples. He is coming first in the air to take us His disciples with Himself to heaven (i.e. the RAPTURE or the "catching up").

After the rapture, begins the rain of calamities unknown to humans; this is the Great Tribulation for people left on the earth. After seven years of evil and the rule of the man of lawlessness, the Antichrist; Christ comes back again (with His Church from heaven) physically to the earth to reign and rule the world for a thousand years. At the end of the thousand years, Satan and his followers who refused to believe in Jesus will be judged and put into burning hell forever. Finally, all believers in Christ of all ages past and present will be ushered into the presence of God for life of eternity in a new earth and new heaven.

The above is the high-level overview of the end-time plan of God according to scripture. End-time Bible references follows. I challenge you to please check out these scriptures for yourself:

Zechariah 14:4; Acts 1:11; Titus 2:13; Revelation 1:7; 1 Corinthians 15:51–54; 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18; 1 John 3:2; 1 John 2:28; 1 Thessalonians 4:18; Matt. 24:36; John 6:39; Romans 14:10–12; 2 Corinthians 5:10; 1 Corinthians 3:9–15; Revelation 6:17; 7:14; Jeremiah 30:7; Zechariah 12:2, 3; 14:1–3; Revelation 19:7–9, 14; 1 Thessalonians 3:13; Zechariah 14:9; Revelation 19:15, 16; Revelation 20:2, 4–6; Revelation 19:20; 20:1–3;  Joel 3; Matthew 25;  Amos 9:15; Ezekiel 34:28;  Psalm 2:9; Isaiah 11:4;  Romans 8:19-21;  Revelation 20:7–9;  Revelation 20:10;  Revelation 20:11–13; Revelation 20:14, 15; Mark 9:48; 2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:2, 3; 22:3–5 (Compiled by Moody Bible Institute).

Though the word "Rapture" is not in the Bible; Jesus Himself promised us in His own words, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.” John 14:2-4

On these words of Jesus, Apostle Paul expounds in two places as follows:

“15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18.

Again Paul writes about the Rapture: “51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-54.

Friends, yes we do not know the exact date or time that Christ is coming for us (His Church) but it is very soon. We have the greatest HOPE among all people in this crazy world of today. We must joyfully live with this HOPE and great expectation and warn our families, friends, neighbors and the whole world to repent and put their trust and faith in Christ.

Lord, I thank You that I will not be here during the great tribulation. I pray the same for you too. Amen.

We must watch and pray without ceasing. We must live as if this is not our home and look forward to Jesus' soon coming for His Church. Amen.

Are you ready for the soon Rapture? Don't be left behind! Repent of your sins and trust in Jesus Christ the Savior and Lord. Don't wait for the Great Tribulation; you may not be able to endure it. Amen.

Repentance is an awareness of your sins, leading to a desire to change and decision to change and align with God's will.
