"Behold I AM Coming Quickly" Says Jesus

Dear Saints,

You heed the last words of a loved one. Jesus' last recorded Word is, "Behold, I AM Coming Quickly."

We are at the end of our study of the book of Revelation. Yeah! Chapters 21 and 22 describe the real estate and people in the new heaven and the new earth (the New Jerusalem).  The saints of God from all eras whose names are in the Book of Life will be there. The “curse” is removed from the earth forever. Hallelujah!

Eternity comes down to living face to face forever with the Triune God, Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. We will “serve Him” and "reign with Him.” There will be awesome and satisfying work forever. No goof off in heaven.

We believe that the book of Revelation is not just a story and Scripture for endless debate but as accurate and factual as anything (see Revelation 22:6-7). Revelation is the Word of God – The Truth.  Jesus has spoken to us, the Church, and continues to speak. He now says:

“And behold, I am coming quickly.” “Surely I am coming quickly.” Do you believe Jesus?

Jesus is coming soon and has made sure we hear it three times directly from Him (verses 7, 12, and 20).

Please note the following: Though the seas will be gone, there will be a river flowing from God’s throne, the water of life, and a “Tree of Life” will bear fruit. We will eat in the new glorified body just as Jesus did after His resurrection (see Luke 24:40-43 and John 21:12).

Please also note those who will not be in heaven but in hell: the dogs, sorcerers, murderers, idolaters, sexually immoral, and those that love and practice lie—vs. 15. These are the unbelieving in Christ, and their lifestyles confirm their destiny in hell.

Repentance and calling others to repent is where you and I come in. We have work to do; not to earn heaven but as a love offering to our Savior and Lord who has saved us by His grace. Listen:

“And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” Revelation 22:17.

It says the “Spirit” and the “bride.”  We are the bride and joining the Spirit in calling all people to “Come” to Jesus.  Will you do your part? Take people with you to heaven. You will not take your money and wealth to heaven.

Did you know that the only answered prayer outcome that you will take to heaven are the people you prayed for and told about Jesus, who repent and come to faith in Christ? Lord, help us to obey the commission to "go and make disciples." Amen.

Please read and meditate on Revelation 22 below. See you in the New Jerusalem. Shalom! “Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”

Are you going to heaven and living with God forever? If not, repent today and believe and trust in Jesus, who has paid for all our sins. Ask for His forgiveness, and confess Him as your Lord and Savior. Amen.

The River of Life – Revelation 22:

22 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

The Time Is Near

Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.

Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.

Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.” 10 And he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.

11 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”

Jesus Testifies to the Churches

12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”

17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

A Warning

18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

I Am Coming Quickly

20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
