Is There Still HOPE?
Dear Saints: Is there still HOPE in this world of injustice, racism, diseases, hatred, brutality, hunger, corruption and etc.? Like the psalmist, I almost slipped and nearly losing HOPE, BUT… “When I thought how to understand this, It was too painful for me—17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end... Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. 26 My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. ” Psalm 73:16-17; 25-26. God alone and His presence with us makes sense in these days and hours as we see the evils of human kind unfold around us. It is still “too painful for me” to watch and understand why George Floyd was pinned on his neck to die in front of the whole world. Sodom and Gomorrah is looking more saintly than our generation. Lord, right now please allow me into your sanctuary, into your presence to see your disfigurement, your bruises, your hands and feet with...
