The Biggest “But” Ever I hope you read carefully. I did not say the “biggest butt” so please, do not send me emails but I said the “biggest but”. I am the biggest “but” ever. I was born and lived in my city called “Dead in trespasses and sins (DTS)”. In this city, my people’s primary way of living is that we “conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind”. Anything and everything immoral was the norm and “if it feels good you do it” is the slogan for our city. The ruler of our city is “the prince of the power of the air”. The ruler is a spirit and he works to encourage “disobedience” to the ultimate Ruler and Maker - God the Almighty. Everyone that has ever lived from the beginning of creation lived in our city DTS. Everyone who now lives, also live in our city of DTS. Abraham, David, Virgin Mary, Judas Iscariot, Hitler, Mother Teresa, Gaddafi, every “good” and “bad” person lived or lives in my city of DTS. Where is Jesus? Have you asked that question; where is Jesus when I need Him? And also literally where is Jesus now after rising from the dead? What is He doing now? Most times we only think of Jesus when we read His life on earth. That is good and we should do so but His earthly life was not the end of Jesus. We even believe that He rose from the dead and often we just stop there. Jesus is alive and well and He is doing and being God. He also left us with His Holy Spirit to live in us while we are here on earth. The Scripture tells exactly where He is. Resurrection Power in You Traveling through the world airports, I have had my share of security searches and screening. I have been through the total body search by the new imaging technology that scans your entire body looking for weapons or explosives. Don’t tell anyone (especially law enforcement agents) but it is true. Pray to Know God God allows us insight in the lives of people and grants us the spirit of intercession. God does not show us things about others for gossip and for belittling them. He grants us a passion for praying God’s will into existence in the lives of people we interact with. This is exactly what God used Paul to do for the Ephesian Church and for all of us. Love Evidence of Faith What is the evidence and is there really an evidence for a new life in Christ? If you have trusted in, believed in Christ (which is our faith), how would others know that you have? If Apostle Paul could refer to evidence should we not refer to such and expect such from others and of ourselves. Paul had been documenting for the Ephesian Church (and I would say all Churches) the great spiritual blessings we have in God.
